Challenged myself to write something with the same two chords for the majority of it (E and A), using different voicings in the verse, chorus, and bridge to give it movement.
The addition of the vocal reverb works really well for changing the energy and intensifying the song. I love the way the percussion begins just in intermittent bursts and never sticks around for long--just enough to add energy and interest.
