Spent the first half hour of this skirmish trying to get technology to work so I could do some whistle stuff on my loop pedal but alas, it got the better of me. So instead I speed wrote a silly little ditty about my low frustration tolerance with technology. And added some whistling for good measure - which - fun fact, I only learned to do in my 20's and I'm still not that good at.

It’s anything but intuitive It’s sending me into a tailspin again So many buttons, I don’t know the right one I tried to restart now I’m locked out

I just wanted to make some pretty noise Now I’m an hour deep into the void Of screens and levers and words that I don’t understand Oh, I need a helping hand

I’ve got an allergy To this thing called technology All its cables and wires and cloud storage mires I don’t see the point of trying tonight So I go back to what I know Strings and keys and maybe a bow And the human voice, isn’t it nice I don’t need reverb when I’m so damn perturbed

I don’t need a computer to whistle I much prefer to keep it simple Maybe one day I’ll find an easier way But right now it’s so fickle
