I am sucking this February in making songs. I got too much on my mind to focus on making anything good. But instead I am just sitting there seeing what kind of crazy synths I can make so I guess I’m learning more about what all the knobs and such do. My creative process behind this one was weird. I wanted to try to learn some music theory and so I did a simple blues pattern but I found it really boring. And I also just don’t know theory by the fundamentals of it. I can play a blues riff on the guitar and such but I just know HOW to do it I don’t know what is happening when I do it. The synth from this song is the same chords to what was originally a blues song that just sounded way better this way than in a boring blues pattern. I think it’s actually harder for me to click in the piano roll stuff than it is to play it on a keyboard or an instrument so I think from moving forward im going to try that more.
