Pyeongchang

Liner Notes
Thank you for selecting my song! Also I must apologize. This is a weird song. Because the Olympics and because I think one of the nicest words to say is Pyeongchang....there is this.
Lyrics
Those athletes in their sporty attire Running around like their hair's on fire Nation States in a competition To have most podium celebrations
Train until you are the best Comes the day, your big test Will all your hard work pay off Or will it be your biggest loss?
They go round and round and round and round Down and down and down and down Spinning around and jumping up. Throwing rocks and shooting pucks
Chorus: In ancient greece 2000 years ago Paris, St Moritz And Mexico Up those mountains across those lakes To my very favorite place... ..........................Pyeongchang
I dont know but I been told The best medal's solid gold Other hand I heard 'em say All that matters is how you play
If I was a big ski jumper All the girls, call me thumper If I was a hockey player I'd wow ‘em with my flashy sweater
They go round and round and round and round Down and down and down and down Spinning around and jumping up. Throwing rocks and shooting pucks
Chorus: In ancient greece 2000 years ago Paris, St Moritz And Mexico Up those mountains across those lakes To my very favorite place... ..........................Pyeongchang Fade-out

I love the immediacy of this, great energy and just slightly daft. Glad I clicked on this one
The heavy echo on the voice really works well. Nice satire on the sporting world. Good song!
The simple melody (which I guess you could've submitted for last week's challenge) makes it very singalongable
