This has a really special atmosphere. Can't tell how many layers of guitar it is, but they intertwine beautifully, I like how they play almost the same, then veer in and out of each others rhythm, sounds almost like a strange delay at times. Very cool. And the burbling drone sits perfectly behind them.
The drone mixed with the finger picking sounds amazing! Loving the little walkdown at 0:54
Lovely picking - isn't it interesting how these sounds can transport us? With the title it becomes a journey. Nice progression as well
The drone bass is a whole world to itself. Your finger picking is jaunty and invites ius on a ramble. Well played sir.
Mmm, what a tastily recorded guitar. Really nice noodling around DADGAD - I find it so easy to settle into playing stuff that sounds like it's been been written a hundred times in that tuning, but you've come up with something pretty fresh. The harmonics are nice. The synth I'm still deciding on but I think I like how it emphasises the drone of any ringing strings. Also, absolutely no disrespect, but I didn't know you played guitar so well!
The nerve! I'm so disrespected!
lovely to hear someone channeling robbie basho, john fahey, jack rose. the bubbling didgeridoo style synth in the background is a very cool and original touch. nice one!!
I'm not actually familiar with Robbie Basho or Jack Rose but I'm keen to hear more stuff like this - thanks for the pointers! I've been enjoying some recent solo folky guitar people like Gwenifer Raymond and M. Haiux.
Love the sound of this and all twists and turns it takes. You've got a great tone on your guitar playing.
Live the vibe. Cool mix of traditional and non-traditional sounds. You wouldn’t think the two would mix, but you did a good job of blending them together.
Love the title and this is just really special! I love the way it makes me feel-like libraries and all kinds of things I love!
This is ominously peaceful, like you're being patiently watched by demonic bear whilst carrying a fishing pole across an idyllic mountain meadow. Dig it!
Library of smells is an interesting idea, makes you think we have libraries for sights and sounds but not smells yet! Can’t wait for smell-o-vision. Kind of reminds me of Bron-Yr-Aur by Led Zeppelin. Super cool atmospheric synth part behind the guitar too!
Ooh, wonderful playing straight from the top! I love the intertwine-I-ness (because that is totally a real word). The layers build on each other so well and I loved that slinky synth moving around underneath. This was a beautiful song and I really just came in because of the title!!
