I joined the YMCA last November and I am a bit obsessed. I didn't realize I was lonely until I experienced the companionship of the ping-pong-people and my joy meter rose to new heights. I'm pretty sure YMCAer isn't a word so I'm claiming the week one challenge. #week1 My soprano ukulele was my instrument of choice (it's my choice for most YMCA music hours too). #FUC

In November of 2025 – I joined Medicare I selected a supplemental – examining what was there Of course I wanted coverage – to include hospital stays But also was excited – to join my local YMCA

Now I am a YMCAer A pickleball and ping pong player The social connection can’t be beat Even if I get sore feet

I hired myself a coach – to teach me to use All the fancy weight machines – she would expertly choose But mentally my favorite – a visit that brings me glee Forever Well music hour – with my beloved ukulele
