It's been quite a while since I improvised a shorter, alt-rock sort of song. So this morning, that's what I decided to do. Another one一take live一to一tape imrpovisation: music & lyrics all coming off the cuff as the "tape rolled". Seems my Muse is still wallowing in the depths of the same dark feelings she always seems to be lost in. I guess I still have some ghosts in my closet…
This is just my Strat, processed through my "Live" Jeskola Buzz project. No Frippertonics or other loops this time. What you hear was what I played & performed. It's not a horrible attempt at more catharsis, I guess…

Classic Candle sound, blending the dark with the bright, the meditative with the fiery. I really enjoy the feel of these tracks of yours, where it sounds like you are performing on a big stage and yet we are taken on a journey that is clearly private. Great vocals, very powerful.

The guitar is deeply rooted in a sorrow beyond measure and the vocals take us to the dizzying heights of despair. And it's all a dark dark thrill. The hope that comes in feels like a decision both to come down from those heights and soar through the deeps and find the ground

Beautifully introspective <3 The chords really drew me in & then the vocals hooked me! Phenomenal guitar tone, it's so perfectly fuzzy but yet still defined. Your vocals are incredible here & I loved the lyric improvisation a lot. The outro is a perfect landing!

Classic Candle - always here for that! Takes me back to the classic rock days of the 70s, blasting the radio in my red 63 Chevy Impala, windows down, hair blowing, feeling young, free and powerful. The only time I could feel that way was in my car.

Yeah, my Classic Rock roots a pretty strong. Growing up listening to all the greats had an effect on me, for sure. It's nice to venture into that sort of terriory every once & a while.
