probably my favorite tv show of the last year was "Alien Earth," and of course I was enamored of the breakout character, the little eyeball octopus thing.

I kind of had to write a song from his perspective; I started playing with the idea months ago, but was never happy with the results, but figured I'd give it another go.

Still not sure I love the result, but I surely love the idea.
