#dailyprompt was "What I remember about my first job." Well, here ya' go! I have a warped mind. I would call this incomplete. #onetake
Lyrics
I tell y’all about my first job. It was hauling hay. I got fired because I overslept One or two days. Then I got another job. Mowing apartments Up in Indianapolis. On my second day, I quit. Because fuck that shit. Then, my first job called me back. Until I started screwing around with his granddaughter. He didn’t like that. He said, I was the wild kid Of the small town where I lived.
Then I got another job, Bagging groceries. For the minimum wage. I think it was 3 dollars an hour. But that didn’t matter, I met every girl in town there. And the older women too. Had a mullet with a perm Frosted tips, And a jean jacket that was blue. Because i was the wild kid Of the small town where I lived.

well, that sure was a flattering comment. Thanks so much for listening and you are welcome to download if you wish.
Had me laughing outloud at "fuck that shit!" Not many storysongs 'round these parts. Lots of little details, imagery, that makes this story feel whole. Thanks again for using the daily prompt!
I'm loving the daily prompt thing. Thank you so much!
what a great story! minimum wage was 1.70 when I first got a job I never hauled hay though
Oh, hauling hay is a tough job. These stories are mostly true, haha! Thank you so much for listening and you are welcome to download it if you wish
Felt good hearing your voice, personal, it had a lovely melody, the vibe reminds me of melodic punk songs such as Blitzkrieg Bop, which is nice to see there was indeed some culture we can call back to from that era. If you find a band that can hammer out a backing scale, keep it short and uncomplicated and it could be a good dance tune. The other tune it reminds me of is “the car is in the front yard, and I’m sleeping with my clothes on”. I don’t know the names of stuff too often. The good stuff here, could be a Kenny Loggins sort of tune.
