#skirmish #prompt was "Tell Tall Tales." So I went to fishing stories. I've heard someone say each and every one of these lies. It's okay to be experimental during FAWM, right? Because I was with this one.

I caught a pike near a sunken branch. And it weighed 10 pounds. It was the last time that I cast. And it weighed 10 pounds.

I caught 2 fish at the same time They both weighed 10 pounds. And they nearly snapped my line They both weighed 10 pounds. (CHORUS) I caught a whole mess of fish They all weighed 10 pounds. Didn’t feel like cleaning them. They all weighed 10 pounds.

I swear I have my license. I must have forgotten it. Wasn’t even trying to fish. I was just out mapping them.

Attention-catching intro electronic squeals. Great sound throughout. Impressively relentless bass riff. Gritty delivery that combines menace with mendacity. The electronic sounds help tie the song together and I love how at the end they segue into something that sounds to me like water droplets.

This is funny and very cool! It's kind of an updated 'Nineteen' by Paul Hardcastle for the angling world. 😀 An old school friend of mine is a very keen angler and took me out on his boat. I hooked the only trout of the day but it got off my line - I'm pretty sure it was 10 pounds too ...
