This is a track of two moods: nice piano chords, and a harsher synth lead that suggests something's coming. If you've ever been trying to get to sleep and keep being interrupted, well, it's along those lines! Perhaps not the best way to sell it, but there we go :-)

I love your liner note because that is just how the track feels, that the harsher synth is breaking in on the mellower line, but then they start to compliment each other really nicely around halfway through... especially where those sweepy pads come in around 2.30..

Rahhh I love this. Also when you’re trying to sleep and are interrupted by your own brain. Wonder where my birth certificate is, think of Homer Simpson, sing some songs, think of a sheep, wonder if sheep can be friends with chimps, think about scrolling tik tok, scroll for a couple hours.. all the while ruining my zen 🧘‍♀️ all the while counting down how much longer I have left to go and then wondering if sleep is worth it at all
