T2: Judgement Day
by @andybalham
Liner Notes
At the end of the last movie the Tories tore themselves apart. Now like the T1000, they are reforming themselves as something even worse than before. Judgement Day at the ballot box will be upon us soon. As Sarah Conner once said "The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves."
Lyrics
Dust has settled, smoke has cleared The monster has been slain Into a thousand parts
But just before the credits roll Fragments start to move Reforming before our eyes
[Chorus] ‘Cos it’s T2: Judgement Day The Tories are back, they’re just renamed With the same old faces, same dark hearts It’s up to us to tell them apart T2: Judgement Day
A cold machine, in human form More evil than the last And it wants to rule again
It’s up to us, to cast a vote And make our voices heard Before it gets too late
[Chorus]
They’ve been putting up the flags And ramping up the hate Doesn’t matter how they paint it The message is the same They’re pushing for more mileage Our chance is wearing thin ‘Cos five years is forever If they ever get to win
[Chorus]

Love the analogy, but horrified by the reality of the message. I think I'd vote for Robert Patrick anyday over that lot of miserable, cynical, selfish bastards. This rocks and its message is far more terrifying than a terminator!
This is such a fun listen! I love the guitar solos on this, and the line "a cold machine in human form" is such a great image for this.
This is a tremendously effective rock song! I could totally hear this on the radio. I love the slapback effect on the vocals, it's great! A true rock 'n' roll anthem!
I love the dark punk feel of this song. I was listening to this while plugging in to do some writing on the electric and I'm inspired.
Great message with perfect delivery.
This slays. The drums and guitars work together so well. Bravo!
