The first 20 seconds like sounds like some kind of weird space race. Then there is some kind of glowing orb, and a few drones come by and seem intrigued by it and hang around to inspect it. At 0.54 something comes in that scares the drones and they make their escape. It's interesting really: the rest of the song is absolutely solid, but it's that kinda creepy and ominous first minute that just storytells so well.
