It’s sunny and bright with just a gentle breeze Perhaps I’ll still change my mind I saw some movement out there in the leaves Nature can be cruel, nature can be kind

It’s a perfect day for a walk The record store opens soon I know that you said we need to talk But the clock is moving to noon

And there’s talk of snow on the way Something to spoil the day I’ll kick myself if I stay in and mope Those new releases have filled me with hope
