Lyrics
Accordion music floats from the corner There on the bridge, under the streetlamp Cold to be out at this time of night Just waiting for tourists to pass
And boats on the water with candlelit dinners Lighting is subtle, refrained The tinkle of glasses the sound of the china Sophistication proclaimed
And voices which drift on the wind Laughter from further afield Saturday night and it’s numbingly cold The bell of a cyclist, warning not angry Making for home in the dark
The middle of the month already Time has flown by so fast It’s going quite well the writing is steady February’s here at long last

I found this wonderfully relaxing. What great imagery you create in these lyrics. I found myself sitting in a canal-side restaurant enjoying some people-watching and the scenery in this night scene you paint so clearly. This also has such a lovely melody too. I truly enjoyed listening.
A wonderful mid-month meditation. You paint such a wonderful picture of the world around you. I felt very connected when you talked about the middle of February here already and the writing's going well. I felt the same way this morning
