Love the melody and the edgy muffled vocal is so cool with this groove. And the 'secret beef' lyrical motif just works.

I love how I have no idea what this is about. Or not NO idea, but there is loads of room left to wonder about it. There is definitely a kind of angsty mood - things are not good. I just can't tell if it's rejection or shame or the feeling of simply being too crap to live. And all of that utterly relateable. Love it.

Love the title (and now see its a skirmish so will go a listen to others as well) I love how you have used the prompt to tell the story. The distorted vocals work well and the almost honky tonk piano is a nice contrast.
