From a challenge by @juhol to make a piece in the hardcore genre. I think I got most of the elements but not sure I got the sound. Fun project anyway and I like how it came out, whatever genre it is or isn't.

Lyrics
Faultline
I got your letter where you said goodbye Said you felt better, I wanted to die Huge divide between you and I Is a faultline.
It's a puzzle I'd like to see resolved You don't care don't want to be involved Try to avoid it but we always fall Into the faultline
Ch Down the faultline I run lookin' for you Along the faultline Lookin' for a clue Runnin' and hidin' Slippin' and slidin' Down the faultline
At the faultline On my own Dialed you up Nobody home Drifting alone A techtonic stone Across the faultline
Vs Never could decide who was in control Any discussion became a black hole Just a coupla travellers don't wanna pay the toll At the fault line.
[Ch] Runnin' and hidin' Slippin' and slidin' Down the faultline

Good title hook! I like the variation in sounds. Vocals work well too with everything going on here.
This is fucking amazing!
This is a little too sunny for most hardcore, not to mention a lot more melodic. Fun song though!
Love how it’s like a cross between rock‘n‘roll and happy hardcore - maybe gabber‘n’roll?
I believe I started headbanging on that chorus. I love that electronic jam on the verse. For some reason I want the last chord (where you say Faultline) to be minor, or less resolving. I like it regardless
