Beautiful & melancholic! The guitar is so lovely, almost like a lullaby. The lyrics spin up such a sad story. "Feeding birds who only come in pairs" hurt my heart. Your voice carries so beautifully and the melody is gorgeous over those chords. Really lovely work!

I've never been told my voice carries beautifully, that means a lot. I'm reasonably proud of how quickly I spun up the story, I'm glad you found it as you did. And that line is my favourite payoff in the song. Thanks so much for taking the time and giving such substantive feedback, it thrilled me a bit, especially receiving feedback from one so prolific!
