Lyrics

Imagine a million years ago What pressed it into shape And every movement since That brought it to this place

All that you see Is what it has to be It came to you So you could see it too

Glance at the outside And follow every line Reach into the inside And trace it in your mind

All that you see Is what it has to be It came to you So you could see it too

World within a stone Pick it up and take it home

Find your way to the center And the secrets of the core Held there for a million years A million years and more

All that you see Is what it has to be It came to you So you could see it too

World within a stone Pick it up and take it home

World within a stone Pick it up and take it home

What a driving guitar. Nice take on the skirmish, well done.

These lyrics are so interesting! I like the idea of looking at a stone and trying to imagine the circumstances under which it was pressed into shape and how it came into being so very very long ago and now you can just put it in your pocket. Great skirmish!

This is a very cool concept for a stone song. I like the lyrics, particularly the "world within a stone/pick it up and take it home" lines. Well done.
