The One That Doesn't Burn
Skirmish: Stones (@robinleaf)Liner Notes
I dunno something something paranoia
Lyrics
All my appliances are being replaced by stone It's happening secretly behind my back They thought I'd never know
Santa was supposed to give me coal But he ran out and now all he has are stones Oh oh, oh oh
I found a picture frame with a code to a safe In the room they had made and inside of the safe Are millions of tiny rocks
Mount Rushmore nudged my shoulder And smiled at me with rows and rows of granite teeth Oh oh, oh oh
And as I walk out of the labyrinth I come face to face with a statue they made And it looks exactly like me
Santa was supposed to give me coal But he ran out and now all he has are stones Oh oh, oh oh
As I turn around to turn the lights off and go to bed I pull down the blanket and inside my bed I find the statue and the statue has a head And it looks exactly like me

This kind of sounds like a bonkers nightmare that I might have. Very surreal and visual. Nice skirmish!
I really enjoyed that…not sure I was supposed to that much??? Hope the paranoia is fictional for the benefit of this! Would be a funny coincidence if not đŸª¨
This is fun. Nice skirmish
Brilliant lyrics! So inspiring
Scary! I love the way this flows like a stream.
