when I was sixteen I fell in love the first time and it lasted for almost eleven days when the back seat crush wore off , I was left wondering what I had been thinking in the first place never really felt like I had lost anything I was young, never looked back again

new love…….is like a drug it is the perfect high if I could I would fall in love each day, but no…. with time it tarnishes and then becomes old love. those old loves the kind that never stayed

when I was twenty one, the world suddenly opened up I fell in love with a stranger in the street Seattle didn’t feel quite right, We drove to LA late at night fell into lives of endless partying fast living makes promises hard to to keep it makes goodbyes……and sorrys.

now I have seen more years than I care to think about I’m hoping we may yet see a few more twenty plus years of watching tides, some so low and some so high yet here we’re still together on the shore you have brought a stillness to my heart a feeling of belonging that was there from the start
