I was working far to long on this song, but I’m having a huge writers block at the moment with my lyrics. My mind is blank these days and I don‘t get into the flow. It‘s annoying.

So the instrumental track was sitting there in my folder for nearly a week. I always wanted to create a track with my artist name as the title, so I took the leap and did just that.

I really like how this song ebbs and flows around you, it's almost like you could swim in it. Very captivating, meditative feel. The vocals are also wonderful!

ooo, you've done an Iron Maiden (re: the song name 😀). Despite the minor harmonic nature, this feels a little less dark than your other offerings. It may be in the choice of production/instrumentation. The chorus is especially good, it's epic and that's a really cool chord change coming out of it.

This song takes some time to evolve, which is completely valid. This trem riff and the exaggerated reverb is a good choice. Just wondering if you know Katatonia, they have a knack for catchy chord progressions with that extra something

Nice write. The soundscape is lush, and the third verse in particular sounds like a mantra or a prayer.

Agree that this didn't feel like a +5min song. I like the use of low piano and the transition to the chorus works really well. Clever use of firefly-words, scattered here and there, binding the song and that "tremolo" (in the beginning and end) matches the lyrics. Real nice this one

Great voice and track! The lyrics and melody are great! That 5:23 flew by like it was nothing. I've heard songs less than half the length that I couldn't wait to be over. Your song I just started over as I'm commenting. Well done! And for that writer's block, just do some skirmishes, even if it's at your own pace. It's really helped me to push through and find that inspiration. You got this!

Thank you so much. It guess it was the perfectionist in me waiting for „the best lyrics“ - when I’m just open for whatever, lyrics will come naturally. But yes, I also thought about skirmish to loosen a bit up.
