Started writing this on the 2nd of Feb, finished the lyrics on the 10th, recorded vocals last night, mixed this morning (13th). From the start, this had a Murkdweller (my solo black metal project) feel to it, and sure enough that’s what it became. Lyrically, I’m more or less continuing with the same theme as “Hammerthirst”, exploring the effects that the current state of the world has on a person. I wanted to go for a more metaphorical and vague direction with lyrics at first but this is how they turned out.
