The song about begging for reassurance while realising the relationship may already be over, with the passing of summer symbolising love slipping away beyond repair, surprise surprise, Summer is a girl.

I love hearing the music people make in styles I never write in. This was cool! I love the 80s vibe and the lyrical metaphor throughout. Pleasant music for an unpleasant experience being written about, I love it.

Great feel on remembering the delight of summer. The saxophone is just brilliant and brings me back to my summers in the 80's. Nostalgia.

Wow, the sound mix is perfect and the vocals are incredible! What musical production talent! Totally something I could hear on the radio. The sax parts are a great addition, with that call-and-response system.

those teen idol vocals are so smooth, and the music so strong. the big big sound is captivating, i just want to close my eyes and think about all the girls i have loved, all the summers that have passed/ this is pure pop confection with a heart of soul/

This feels like a song that could have been on MTV in 80s with a really cool video - like the comments below - perhaps a guy on a motor bike driving on a road next to the beach with clothes and hair flying back from the wind and thinking intensely. Love the vibe you have created! Your high vocals are really lovely.
