Liner Notes
My entry into Slothcore! This involved a few things as I wanted to feel slowed down it was normal process right up the point I rendered everything as audio and then time-stretched down to 33BPM giving everything a slight 'falling to pieces' sound as the algorithm struggles to maintain order.
Good fun I feel and the result doesn't sound bad

Cinematic feeling, of course "Inception" comes to mind :-) Cool glitch percussion - how did you do them? Did you have samples, or did you synthesize them in some way?
They were samples of relatively normal electronic drums, sequenced into a drum loop and then rendered to audio (I think 120bpm to start with). Then I just slowed Ableton down to 35BPM and the very extreme time stretching it’s trying to do creates all the glitches
The soundscape you've created is truly cinematic! I love the use of orchestral elements, but also the glitches you've added! I really enjoyed everything that was going on in this song.
Thank you very much!
To my ears this sounded like it could have been an outtake from Zilliatron, "Lord of the Harvest." Bootsy slowed way down and (in 2026) facing a world that absolutely feels on the verge of disintegration. I almost don't want to listen to it again, that's the level of dread it raised in me. Nice job!
Haha thank you! Very nicely put
i love it! you really nailed that "falling to pieces" feeling with the emotive glitch textures and languid drums. the melodies are super pretty too
Thank you! Everything rendered as audio and just stretched to oblivion worked well. You can hear the grains
It was so slow I forgot what I was listening to! Cheers, and great job on this!
