Powerful! Really like your guitar playing. And vocals too. Was not expecting the harmonica that really crowned this song. Really like how you made this strong but not the most obvious way. If that makes any sense 🤣

Makes complete sense. The whole thing snuck up on me. Those opening lines -- "We've gotten to the point, I've got nothing new to say, I'm all used up and can't remember yesterday" -- were a journal entry about FAWM. After a week of hitting it hard, I had no idea what I was going to write about that day. The way this changed meaning by the end of the song was a pleasant surprise.

Great raw, emotional honesty! Hard truths to accept in a relationship. As usual, happy songs may be more fun to dance to, but sad songs are just more interesting.

Love the lines: "The past is a poster still hanging in your old bedroom" and "Everyone pays on the loans for the time we borrow"
