"I wonder if there's a single place in the whole world that's never had a story. I bet not."

I knew from the beginning I wanted to make some track referencing Nancy McGunnel and Nine's first conversation with her. There's a huge list of things that stuck with me in 17776 but Nancy's chat with Nine was probably the most poignant human to spacecraft conversation to me. It's funny, too, because it's such a mundane conversation about the Cleveland Browns and what human life became after The Impetus, but something about it just really stuck in my brain after everything else. The cosmic aspect of 17776? Meh. Random conversation with a lady who was in her twilight years before everyone became immortal and no longer ages, dies, or gets sick? That's the stuff I'm remembering.

I also just love how Nine is (in a sense literally) born yesterday about everything. I know the audience surrogate would be like that but I think that makes the conversation have more layers to it than if Juice or Ten did. Juice is busy laughing at people who step on rakes, anyway.

This is another short production while I recover from my sleep deficit. I did actually sleep last night and napped more today but I'll need one more night before I don't feel Ill anymore. I also learned the desk delivery is delayed so I'm doing all my work in short bursts so I don't blow out my spine sitting on my bed with my laptop on a riser. I can't wait to go home after this week is done.
