My eighth FAWM track for 2026, and also the eighth in which all sounds originate from my old Yamaha RX7 drum machine - with all the drum parts programmed via midi, and with all the pitched sounds being sampled, and then altered through various hardware and software FX units.

When I was making this track, I was aware that all my FAWM pieces so far have been drum heavy and uptempo, so I decided to something slower and less drum-centric. A bit perverse considering I was using a drum machine to make the track, and yet there isn't much drums or percussion in the piece until about 1 minute 20 seconds into the track! I like a challenge....

I was also thinking in terms of 'album' structure when putting this piece together, as I wanted to make my first eight FAWM tracks go together as a cohesive album - a Yamaha RX7 album - and I wanted this piece to provide some contrast, and also wanted it to sound/feel like an album closer. Hope you like it....
