My sixth FAWM track for 2026, and also the sixth in which all sounds originate from my old Yamaha RX7 drum machine - with all the drum parts programmed via midi, and with all the pitched sounds being sampled, and then altered through various hardware and software FX units.

This track is on the heavier and less melodic side of techno, and is built around an evil-sounding riff played using the 'pick bass' sound from the RX7, which has been dirtied up via a Boss overdrive pedal. I've also used the 'electric guitar' sound, which on its own sounds like the naff 'rock guitar' sounds you used to get on cheap home keyboards. This sound is doubling the same riff as the bass, and I've fed it through an old and cheap Bespeco Weeper wah pedal. There's also a marimba theme in there, and lots of Latin percussion sounds. It's a bit all over the place.

The track title comes from the description used by someone who is selling a Yamaha DX9 on Ebay!!! (I spend far too much time on Ebay 😂) Seemed to suit this track perfectly. Hope you like it......
