Another take on the same prompt. Very different vibe and if you look closely, although both songs appear to have the same name, the last one was called Everything HAD changed. This one is called Everything HAS changed. So, not the same at all. I'm rambling now...

You say everything is different But how could it stay the same? We live and we learn and sometimes move on Some write poetry and others write songs But how could it stay the same?

Well I listened this 3 times in a row. That harmony in the last verse just seals it. Beautiful singing, gutwrenching lyrics.

Such a contrast with the other version, did you write both within the hour? Poignant lyrics about the futility of self awareness when we are just being our true selves. Some nice vocal harmonies too
