Another beautiful tune. Really like the vocal melody choices. I like the responsibility-taking in the second verse, acknowledging that what "you'd" (character in the song) said was "out of line," you weren't thinking about the consequences of your words, and realizing now that you were "so senseless," which seems to vindicate that the other person treated you not cruelly, but appropriately "like a foolish youth" and perhaps their being "so unkind" was an interpretation of the "darkness which came over" them in response to your out of line comments that you didn't connect the dots about back when. Thanks for the second contribution :)
