I've been writing mostly upbeat songs, so I thought I'd try something a bit slower and softer. I've still not quite got the levels right on my live recording setup but I think it's getting better. By the end of FAWM I hope to have everything recording nicely.

What a wonderful set of lyrics, very evocative and love your vocal delivery on this too. Very delicate and appropriate for the story. Really enjoyed this listen

A sorrowful song sung in very emotional way. I like the wind theme here. Especially how you start in the first verse and then bring it back in the second. Leaving your window open after feeling lost love on the wind to let it in is a very nice sentiment. The setup sounds great. for the purposes of FAWM I think it does the job fantastically already.

Love that drone!! Wonderfully sad vibes here <3 Beautiful sorrowful melody & vocal delivery! That final verse had me on the verge of tears. Lovely lovely work, so good!

So nice. The laidback vocals and guitar contrast with the drone in a slightly ghostly way.

This is pretty different from my soundscapes :) I like the very minimal drum track. Is the Volca the hum sound in the background? I might like to hear that more prominent. I do like these lyrics. Nice tune.

Yeah, the Volca keys has a ring modulator mode and a delay, which I used to get that drone sound.

Love the drone, and the melody dancing around it. All the tones here including your voice are quite nice. The guitar against the drone feels a bit like fighting back a dirge.

Nice, contemplative tune. Cool that you’re using a live recording set up. I love that you’re playing and singing live. That’s not the easiest thing to do, but it pays off big time when the gig arrives!

Idk, this live setup sounds totally crisp and fantastic! But I get it if you're going for something specific.

I love the simplicity of this song and it feels SO tense with that drone note in a very compelling way. Something about the chorus felt really powerful to me too. Great work.
