Intriguing song, I love how the ambiguity of what it is holds the song together, but it doesn't matter what it is. It seems to function like the glowing brief case in pulp fiction, never defined, just of great value to provide purpose. Brilliant work, catchy tune, now what is it?!? Living 30 minutes from the Canadian border, this reminds me of a story my friend told me about when he had to eat the driver's baggie of purple leaves because the driver accidentally took the wrong exit and drove into Canada. I'm certain that's not what this song is about, but I appreciate being reminded nonetheless.
