Lyrics

Through the city streets An uncertain wind is blowing Carrying away all hope

An eldritch presence Shapeless, without form All feel its malice

But the heart of all mankind yearns to still be free To live, to love, to care for all, to stand, to breathe

Where do we go? Where do we go from here? Where do we go? Where do we go from here?

We watch and wait Looking for an opening We raise our voice to the heavens

Thousands upon thousands died To fight this demon If we give in or give up we will be Desecrating their graves

But the heart of all mankind yearns to still be free To live, to love, to care for all, to stand, to breathe

Honoring those who came before is our solemn obligation It’s up to us all to stand for what’s right And not surrender to subjugation

But the heart of all mankind yearns to still be free To live, to love, to care for all, to stand, to breathe

Where do we go? Where do we go from here? Where do we go? Where do we go from here?

It’s all on the line It’s down to crunch time We can’t give in We can’t give up We can’t lose hope We can’t back down We stand We stand

Where do we go? Where do we go from here? Where do we go? Where do we go from here?

Oh YES! This sets the tone, right from the very get-go. The dynamic shift from that massive intro into the first verse. Chef's kiss. And the pre-chorus sets us up so nicely for that similarly massive chorus. And the guitar solo? I've run out of superlatives... This is all kinds of fabulous. 😀

Man, I just had a Robin Trower flashback! This is great! I know my stuff is singer songwriter, but If you ever want to collaborate, just let me know!

Your bass playing anchors everything so well. Absolutely loved your guitar solo. You are a master of creating these full and complete musical compositions. I fully appreciate the hopeful, can’t give up, take a stand sentiment.

Love the soundscapes. It's a little doomy with loads of hope. Again, the organ is so sweet. What are your drawbars? Been thinking about getting a bari guitar for a while. May have to do it. Guitar solo was a little Gilmouresque. Very nice!

Dude, that bass is straight naaaaarsty. I gotta get a 5-string . . . . This slow groove is some funky business.

crikey that nearly took my head off! Great start, then a nice drop into the vocal. Enough story and enough repetition to keep everyone happy! lots of power and energy! very good use of light and dark. another good song!

Excellent, excellent work! Hard hitting, atmospheric and skillfully played. Where do we go from here? It's a question that sounds very familiar to me ...

Great arrangement and a lot of drama in the voice. The organ solo is super cool! I don't think it's too doom....

Great work! This makes me a little emotional, thinking we may be dealing with more than a hiccup in time.

One of the best things I’ve heard this year so far. Amazing vibe and arrangement. Reminds me a bit of Mad Season (if you haven’t checked them out you should). Tasty solo. Love the tone. This is so well written and performed. Awesome work

Those cymbals!! Not messing about AT ALL. I love how you then pull everything back - great earnestness in the lyrics - testify - and then back comes Attack of the Cymbals. Huge huge chorus, but the breakdown section might be my favourite part of the song, the band really hits its groove. It's doomy, yes, but also there's that 'can't lose hope' sentiment, and I think you get the balance just right :)

Ah, loving the production. It's at the same time airy and heavy! That lead guitar tone is so cool.
