Have A Merry Christmas

Liner Notes
A Christmas song for February, the least Christmassy of all the months. This was an experiment in recording live, which turned out to be harder than expected, due to my lacklustre performing skills.
Lyrics
Christmas came Always the same Nobody noticed you at all
Back of the shop Where prices drop Never a friend to come your way
Have a very merry Christmas Hope you have a merry Christmas I wish you a merry Christmas One and all, one and all
But then one day Your world changed You heard a laughing voice draw near
Oh look daddy A cute little tree He would be perfect for my room
You know what - that is a transition I can kinda relate to. It feels good - I thought it was going to be a depressing Christmas song (which can still be good) - but the change in context made it really interesting. Got that Slade thing going on that it's distinguish got some Christmas going on, without resorting to major key descents.
Wouldn't have known you felt any difficulty live. It felt rehearsed, practiced, and finished. You did good.
