Boohstie, since you're saying it's a loud one I'm hesitant to put on headphones (I tried for a minute but I noticed I couldn't relax into it). I'll try it later on the pc and report back!
May I ask: do you put a limiter on the master track, or mix to a specific LUFS? I'm trying to avoid even more hearing damage :')
yeah theres a limiter on the master! idk if its to fully the right settings but i tried lol
YAY YIPPEE !!!!!!!! This is sooo good. I love your texture layering and composition style so much <3 Mmmmhm the buzzing at 3:17ish is so pleasing. Each of the sounds is really great on its own and they all work together so well. Like it still feels like they have their own space, but they aren't separate, if that makes sense??? I LOVE the drill harmonies!!!! I felt the ending in my teeth, so perfect. Amazing work!!!
thank you! having space and distinctness for sounds in my work is smth im working on... mixing is tricky!! im glad you enjoyed this, i had a lot of fun making it, i finally got a (second hand, gift) midi controller and used it for this :}
Silly but true: first thought was "Oh, live recording of the Overnighter program at work."
I like this (am relistening). The differently panned sounds around 1-2 mins are a nice threatening quiet time in between the wall of noise. And the wall is obviously Very Present but it's so layered and textured, it is intense but not in an overwhelming way.
