Liner Notes

#myth #skirmish #acousticrock A love song for the woman who has serpents for hair.

Lyrics

Rosy Glasses Tales for Classes Wavy hair that looks like snakes I know I can’t afford mistakes

It’s a stone cold feeling When you catch the meaning It’s a stone cold feeling And the universe keeps revealing All its secrets to me

Ships crash On the rocks Listen When she talks Accept the world the way that you find it Then you won’t have to be reminded

With that stone cold feeling When you catch the meaning It’s a stone cold feeling And the universe just keeps revealing All its secrets to me

Truth when You’re open Her words Are spoken You will not get very far Except by setting out from where you are

It’s a stone cold feeling When you catch the meaning It’s a stone cold feeling And the universe just keeps revealing All its secrets

It’s a stone cold feeling When you catch the meaning It’s a stone cold feeling And the universe just keeps revealing All its secrets to me

I like that this catchy chorus fits really into this skirmish but could work for in a lot of contexts Also I like the last lines of all your verses... Is it setting or starting out from where you are (sounded like starting in the recording)? I like either but they give me different ideas about what you mean.

This song is about a fantastical subject but "Accept the world the way that you find it" really grounded it in reality to me. Way to turn something fantastic into something within reach!

nicely done, and yeah I caught that 'day in the life' thing right away. chorus is a standout.

Not sure if it was intentional or not, but that intro/break between verses is very reminiscent of the intro to A Day in the Life. It's a nice little reference, if so. Good solid chorus on this one too!

Thanks. I knew it was a Beatles somhs, I just couldn’t remember which one.
