The original "Parallel Lives" is a collection of biographies by Plutarch. The main inspiration for this movement was a Radiohead song called "Let Down," though the end result sounds nothing at all like Radiohead.

Yeah, so good. Giving me a bit of Philip Glass vibes. I love me some string quartet. "Pensive", yeah, good word. I really enjoyed this a lot.

Gorgeous arrangement. I like the title you chose. I’m not sure whether to feel sadness or relief or numbness with how those strings keep fluctuating and switching up. This is quite a ride (listened twice hehe)
