My grandad just got me this Yamaha C-40 for school since I've been using a full steel string BIG dreadnaught acoustic guitar for my classical guitar classes and I am one of the only students in my class to be completely comfortable with finger picking (I can't use a pick I just suck at it). Its interesting. This new guitar is giving me better technique to be able to play the same thing on my big acoustic guitar. I wrote this one mere moments after talking on the phone with my girlfriend and Im sure there's some influence there but I wrote the title with the azalea garden in my mind that we went to for one of our first dates that I surprised her with. Real basic real short really took me about 10 seconds to actually write and it just was the first thing I played when I picked up the guitar after we talked and Ive had it in reserve for a couple of months.
