I really like this prompt, thanks to all who listen
Lyrics
Out of breath, out of mind No restraint, will you be kind? Don’t step into my dark, with your shoes
Perfect sight, 20/20 Tell you jokes, Tell me I’m funny But you don’t see the dark in my blues
You’ll only see the light I let through You’ll imagine you’re seeing exactly who? You’ll swear it’s just the me you see in you
Muddied glass, garbled words Drink too much, so i’ve heard The advice don’t come from you Translucent mirror, on the wall Put up well, never falls Who’s the me I see in you?
I’ll only see the light you let through I’ll imagine that i’m seeing exactly who? I’ll swear it’s just the me I see in you
You’ll only see the way that I refract I’ll only stare but never see yours back You’ll see anything I want you to I’ll see anything you want me to

I like the interplay between the guitar and your voice. Cool repeating guitar riff/line too. Good song.
I really like how the guitar mirrors the vocal line when you're picking. Gorgeous lyrics and vocal line, and I love how you switch to strumming strategically. This bit is probably my fave:
Muddied glass, garbled words Drink too much, so i’ve heard The advice don’t come from you Translucent mirror, on the wall Put up well, never falls Who’s the me I see in you?
The plot twist of “Don’t step into my dark, with your shoes”, that you’re still invited to step into your dark, just not with shoes on, is so fun. I love the subtle storybuilding, it’s twisty in such a fun way.
Also “Who’s the me I see in you?”—gorgeous
I like the transition from I to you. Then the closing has both. Mirror on the wall is timeless and can carry so many different meanings. Good work.
This is such an intimate recording that the dynamics really pop. It adds emotion and energy to the lyrics.
