My Own Translucency
Skirmish: Translucent (@robinleaf)Liner Notes
Yuh idk
Lyrics
They made the walls of this house out of glass They want to see my every move (My every move) My every move They want to see my every move (My every move) My every move
They want to see me shower An hour long They wanna call the hour A second long But I had second thoughts I really thought a lot Still I think in circles Till I hurt myself
They want to see my every move (My every move) My every move They want to see my every move (My every move) My every move
Love is just the drug I need To open up to someone new And someone new is what I need To see my own translucency And to see my own translucency Means I can see what's wrong with me And when I see what's wrong with me I think of the thing that could fix me And I think love is just the drug I need
They want to see my every move (My every move) My every move They want to see my every move (My every move) My every move
They want me to hit the groove To buy the movie I'll watch it once I'll fall half asleep But that's the drug I need To be half awake again
Comments
The beginning had me feeling very paranoid, but then the part about love and seeing your own translucency, that hit pretty hard. I really like the end especially.
“But that's the drug I need / To be half awake again” OOOOFFFFFFF this whole song is painfully relatable, wooowwwww
I can hear this as fairly fast paced and rocking good lyrics
Wild lyric, I hear this with a heavy groove - could be rock or electronic or sort of Peter Gabriel style. Good one.
