Oh Wah

Liner Notes
Here's another from The Worm - the play I'm working on. Gotta admit it's from a little while back, but I want feedback.
Sung by Tilla and Crow, future people who are able to 'text' the present and get info about us through a trashcan 'time capsule.' They assume we're all wise and such back here ...
Lyrics
Oh, wha, beloved ancestors Speak to us, down in this hole
Oh, wha, beloved ancestors Speak to us, from your soul
We’ll take your words - find their depth Connect the past with every breath Follow the path with second sight Rising up to find the light
Oh, wha, beloved ancestors We will hear your every word
Oh, wha, beloved ancestors Sing your song, you earlier bird

You are a master of songs with minimal instrumentation. I like the doubled vocal and light percussion and the surreal backstory. "You earlier bird" is a great phrase for someone talking to their ancestor. BTW, you did hear "disco" in "The Crackerjack Store"! Thanks for all the comments.
Love the idea behind the song, and the mechanism for future to present telecommunication 😊 the music makes me think of some kind of music machine, the like of which is made from old bikes and spatulas
I don't have any feedback on this really, but I do know that I liked it. I enjoyed the harmonies, the panning and spatial placement of the voices. It's a really clever idea here.
I think what makes the songs for me is the group singing. I thought the harmonies added a lot to the song and the cadence was perfect as well.
