Just gonna make a few comments while listening. I apologize in advance if they're not too involved.
Loving the atmospheric intro. That repeating almost glitch bit is interesting and not what I expected. Really liking the almost flute-like... not a pad, slow melodic figure. I'm enjoying how this builds quite a bit. It occurs to me that the title is pretty apt. Just letting this wash over me at this point. It is a good one to just sit and listen to.
That change up, growl? Stone moving? just before the 6:00 mark is cool/interesting/a little bit ominous. The bits leading up to and the dripping water at just before the 9:00 mark were both well placed. Increased the sense of... not dread, but ominousness... that's clumsy but nearly what I mean. There's a slight shift just before the 13:00 mark more in feeling, texture than anything. But I like it. The growl/thunder at the very end (except fade out) was a tasty touch, too.
Yeah, you're right, this is great background music for DnD and the like. I wouldn't want it in the background of a study session, though. I can tell it's well arranged for a long burn. A loooooooong burn. Not to be too disrespectful, but the thought occurred to me that if you did a "radio edit" of this song, it would still be nearly 12 minutes long. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude so I hope you take it as intended, but I found it very amusing.
