after laboring over something earlier that turned out to be a ripoff of that evanescence song that @sravanikameswari covers this came out super quickly, which is good because I have plans. I would have liked to clean this up a bit and zhuzhed it up some but here we are.

Oh what a cool guitar picking pattern/chord progression. It sounds very circular. I love how your beautiful vocal melody weaves in and out of the pattern. The guitar harmony on "say" gave me the chills! Powerful and vivid imagery with "carry that ember" and "you're burned in my brain".

like the repetition of 'what's the harm in a _____?' a lot, and i like how the momentum of the chorus gets interrupted with that chord you hold onto over 'when you say my name'. keeps you on your toes! really beautiful song

Lovely, gentle plucking to a waltz. Your voice and your guitar partner each other so well. I'm enjoying the turn of phrase and observation in your lyrics. Sensitive and perceptive. This is so beautiful, I love the guitar on the verses. Also love the subtle lyric changes between the two choruses like having the second one set “say my name” in present tense even though it’s still “how I remember you.”
