If you want to be free, do what's there" and the other is a quote from my guitar teacher "If you want to be a player, you have to do it, or else you'll do something else". (That second one has haunted me pretty much my entire adulthood lol)

The song is about focusing on what you want and letting all the good things in life be byproducts of you chasing after that dream.
