I wrote the lyrics yesterday while traveling by train. At my destination, first I had to build up my mobile studio at the guest's table. Yet a melody in mind, I grabbed the guitar and worked out the chords – which I got pretty quick. However, it took a while to arrange anything. In the end, I had to sing the vocals in one first take.

Und wenn die Superreichen vor der Steuer fliehen, müsste der Staat ihnen das Geld vorher einziehn Wer weiß, ob nach dem Exit all der Milliardäre das Land nicht weniger arm und vielmehr glücklich wäre

Ich bin kein Linker, ich mach keine Politik und ich liebe diese Bundesrepublik Ich selber will gar nicht mehr Geld Es wird nur Zeit für etwas mehr ganz allgemein für etwas mehr ganz allgemein für etwas mehr Gerechtigkeit und Allgemeinfürsorglichkeit

Und wenn du jetzt noch fragst: Was ist daran gerecht? Es ginge keiner einzigen Person mehr schlecht.
