Love the way that you tweak the phrasing at the start of each chorus. Beautiful minutiae throughout as well as the haunting line at the end of each verse: "I am not the victim here." (Okay, pal!) Infectious and wistful in equal measure. Well done!!!

You can always count on Billy for a great guitar/vocal melody that gets stuck in your head. I will try to incorporate 'I'm not the victim here' in my everyday vernacular from now on.

Oo so many clever lines. Great song. Great refrain and I loved the instrumental break. Trash in your car, ex girlfriend novels, not even mentioned and don’t take forever crossing the street we’re done off my favourite lines. Congrats on finishing it 😊

This is amazing! I love the guitar in the bridge, and your lyrics are extremely strong as always. I love the bit about wanting to be mentioned in the memoir and hell being stock music.
