It snowed last night, I wake up to see The world with a blanket of fleece So silent, so serene, untouched and pure, It’s a winter dreamland for sure.
The snow plow rumbles down the street, Followed by trucks and cacophony.
Chorus; What happened to my winter dreamland? What happened to a world so pure? What happened to my winter dreamland?whats done is done, there is no cure
Neighborhood kids start a snow fight At first there’s laughter & yelps of delight Then the big bully starts throwing ice Cascading chaos, no one plays nice

Ah man, this song hits me like...well...like a snowball. And then ice! You paint such a beautiful serene scene with the "winter dreamland". And I "see" it! Then comes the cacophony of trucks with plows. And I "see" that. The snowball fight escalation. Yep, I "see" it. And then..."slush". I love this song literally. And I love it metaphorically. Or maybe I should just say...I Love It!
