a meditation on indifference

Liner Notes
Rather stuck this morning so i fell back to my old standby, lyricloud in the muse.
Since attending a lecture on politics earlier this week, i guess i've been thinking about how so many people end up simply opting out in ideological conflicts instead of taking a side, and that's where this one eventually ended up.
Lyrics
parasitic flavors the musicians are asleep rolling silent smiles orphan brothers' needs cut deep
the dogs' invasion ventures onward the crowd's bunching at the walls circumstances demand action but the motivation's stalled
we knew it was a crime you see, our trusted allies broken we failed in our moment the truth remains unspoken alas we were the villains in the end...
the bonnell liars' venture from outside looks a disgrace but in the end we're all drawn equal, the falsehoods we'll embrace
integrity is busted civilization falls in line the disinterested observers ignore the night sweats give up and embody the design
we knew it was a crime you see, our trusted allies broken we failed in our moment the truth remains unspoken we were the villains in the end...
No notes. Just tears.
