up here in my head where all the noise is going on well the sound is always louder and the noise is never gone and the edges ever crackle in the fire as it roars but the blaring burning banging beats a rattle to the core

This is incredibly unsettling! The voices are scary and the way they get louder is more scary. Very effective. It reminds me of the voices I used to hear when I was a kid. I didn't listen to what they were saying because I couldn't make it out at first and thought it was background texture, by the time it became clear(ish) I was way too freaked out to register any meaning.

thank you. more than all else I consider myself a lyricist. more than doing the vocal in one take, I'm impressed that my brain served up that lyric in a single quick touch-typing session, all at once. late night brain ftw.

Heavy mental music 🤘 Excellent lyrics and super fun with the different layers. Some kind of terrifying machine firing up, the smooth and funky groove, delightful keyboard sounds tickling my brain, and the undercurrent of vocals (I'm seriously impressed you did that in one go!).

I dove into the vocal just assuming I'd shank it and just splice good bits from three or four takes. sometimes not trying to be perfect, is perfect.

It's really cool ; a strange and intimate soundscape. I like your synth choices, and the way they respond to each other, and the singing/speaking creates an intriguing atmosphere, that I really enjoyed!

thanks; my late night brain sometimes does its job. yeah, I sometimes feel guilty for just "picking a synth voice" but when the right tones come together, it's like mixing paint or light.
